Inspired by the theme #UnderTheHood, this report visually explores what exists beneath systems, technology, communities, and individual potential within Africa’s evolving civic tech ecosystem. The creative direction captures the energy of innovation, activism, collaboration, and African-led problem solving that defined CTIF 2024.

Bold editorial layouts, layered visual elements, and modern typography were combined to create a dynamic reading experience that reflects the complexity of conversations around governance, AI, digital rights, creative industries, and social impact. Structured grids and strong visual hierarchy helped organize large volumes of content while maintaining clarity and flow across the publication.

Digital-inspired textures, modular compositions, and high-contrast visual elements were incorporated to reinforce the forum’s technology-driven atmosphere and symbolize systems, networks, and discovery. Photography, statistics, quotes, and session highlights were integrated throughout the report to balance documentation with storytelling.

The final publication was crafted to feel immersive, contemporary, and community-centered, positioning CTIF 2024 not just as a conference, but as a movement shaping the future of civic technology and innovation across Africa.
